Classic Microchenille was one of the first synthetic textile materials to be utilized in the fly tying industry. Extremely short and sparse fibers without any iridescent or glossy effect, the fibers themselves are anchored in place by special core technology that’s hold them permanently in place no matter what! A hugely versatile material that is still used in many nymph and streamer patterns worldwide. One of our personal favorite Euro nymph patterns uses this material, and is still to this day one of the most effective Euro nymph patterns we have ever used, but we have never shared that pattern to date, but perhaps one day we will! This version is on a spool!
3 meters per spool, 0.8mm diameter.
